Regardless of political party and regardless of political beliefs, everyone came together in 2001 to support the families of those that suffered and died on this important day.
For millions of people, this anniversary will be an excellent opportunity to set aside political differences and simply remember the important progress that has been made in the fight against terrorism in the last two decades.
It’s also important to remember the importance of continuing to find new ways to combat terrorism so that something like this is never allowed to happen again. Every President in the last two decades has had to focus on counter-terrorism tactics and Biden’s administration will be no exception to that rule.
Nobody will ever forget the tragedy that took place on September 11th and it will forever be a dark day in the history of America and the world. On this 20th Anniversary of 9/11, it’s important for everyone to unite and remember, even if just for less than 24 hours, to honor the victims on this important anniversary.
Biden will face challenges and his administration will certainly have bumps in the road. This is a great opportunity for him to remind the nation that America is capable of defeating terrorism and he should lay out an urgent plan to ensure that Afghanistan will not evolve into a breeding ground for terrorism in the future.
