Apparently, Scarlett Johansson has been keeping her pregnancy very quiet. She has attempted to keep a low profile, but speculations of her being pregnant started to fly anyway due to her absence from quite a few appearances.
Scarlett Johansson is the star of the Marvel movie, “Black Widow”, which is being released July 8th in the US. She hasn’t been to any premieres, but instead is doing a lot of zoom interviews for the movie’s release.
Her co-stars, Florence Pugh and David Harbour, have been handling most of the press and appearances in Scarlet’s absence. Florence just attended the red carpet premiere for the movie in London this past week. Harbour attended the screening of “Black Widow” in the Hamptons on Friday.
Scarlett Johansson not only being the star, but also an executive producer for this movie and not making any in person appearances made people start to wonder if maybe she was expecting. She has been a part of the Marvel franchise for over a decade now and is usually always attending screenings, premieres, and press events.
While she was still putting in the work for her movie and doing a bunch of Zoom interviews with talk shows, her camera only filmed her from the shoulders up, so there was never a definite answer to peoples speculations.
Not until this week when multiple sources announced that Scarlett Johansson is pregnant and expecting with her husband, Colin Jost. The two are said to be “thrilled” about the pregnancy.
This is the couple’s first child together. However, Scarlett does have a six year old daughter, Rose, from a previous marriage.

The couple owns a home in Montauk together where they are usually seen walking the dogs and grabbing coffee, but they have not been seen very much this summer. Sources around the neighborhood say they must be keeping a low profile because it is very unusual of them to not be out and about.
The recent announcement of their pregnancy definitely confirmed all of the speculations as to why the two were keeping a low profile for such a long time. They were able to keep the pregnancy a secret for at least a little while, but the fans were able to catch on.
It has not been said exactly when the couple is expecting, but apparently it will be soon that the two will welcome their first child together into the world.
