Sammi Giancola, notoriously known as “Sammi Sweetheart” from the hit reality show Jersey Shore, just confirmed that she is single. This means her engagement to Christian Biscardi is no more.
Sammi Giancola and Christian Biscardi announced their engagement back in March 2019. They dated for two years before their engagement, therefore being together for nearly 5 years. Despite being together for half a decade and always sharing their happy relationship on social media, the two clearly have decided to call it quits.
Before meeting and being with Christian Biscardi, Sammi was in a long term relationship with one of her cast members from Jersey Shore. Sammi “Sweetheart” had her toxic relationship with Ronnie Ortiz-Margo publicly displayed on the original Jersey Shore from 2009 to 2012. The two met on the show and quickly began dating. Throughout their relationship fans got to see their ups and downs on TV, but mostly the downs.
The two Jersey Shore cast members’ relationship was so toxic, it still gets talked about to this day. While it made for good entertainment, it was definitely not healthy. That is why when Sammi met and started dating Christian Biscardi, fans were glad to see her in a better relationship.
However, the two are no longer together and there is not a clear reason as to why. Speculations about the two breaking up had been floating around for quite a while due to the fact the two stopped following each other on social media and deleted every picture they had of one another.
Sammi was also recently seen at the opening of her clothing store, “Sweetheart Coast”, without Christian by her side and also not wearing a ring. These were a few red flags that the two definitely called it quits.
As of yesterday though, people no longer have to assume the two broke up because Giancola confirmed it for the first time. Sammi made a TikTok yesterday admitting that yes, she is single. She confessed to the split in a trend where she answers frequently asked questions and of course that was a popular question she gets.
She also continued in the TikTok to answer the question if she is happy. Her response, “YESSS!” While there is no answer as to why the two are no longer together, it is obvious that she did what made her happy.
Even though Sammi is now single, fans should not get hopeful that she may return to the Jersey Shore because she also made it clear that no, she is not going back. Maybe it’s because her ex is there? Or maybe it’s because she says she’s no longer the same Sammi “Sweetheart” from 2009 and has grown. Either way, Sammi Giancola is all about doing what makes her happy.
