Jennifer Lopez and Ben Afflek have been spending a lot of time together recently. The two were just seen in Montana, where they spent a few days away from home together.
This isn’t the first time they have been seen out together in recent times. In late April, the two were pictured at Jennifer’s LA home, sparking rumors that they may have rekindled their flame.
These speculations of the two getting back together come shortly after Lopez’s break up with Alex Rodriguez. Jenifer and Alex were engaged for two years, until April 15th when they officially announced their split. It is believed Jennifer had ended things with Rodriguez due to the fact she could not fully trust him.
Now, Lopez and Affleck are starting to hang around one another again, leaving fans to wonder if ‘Bennifer’ is back? The history between the two is definitely there which makes it easy to believe that these two could definitely be getting back together.
Affleck and Lopez were engaged back in 2002. The two were a very famous celebrity couple at the time, hence receiving the nickname ‘Bennifer’. However, days before the wedding was to take place, the couple decided to postpone the wedding. Ultimately, they split up right at the beginning of 2004 before the wedding even had a chance to take place.
Fast forward nearly 20 years later, the two seem to be getting closer again. Their little getaway to Montana really has the rumor mill going faster than ever. The two were pictured riding in a car together near a resort in Big Sky, Montana. Affleck owns a home exactly in this area, so it appears the two exes decided to get out of town and spend some time there alone.
While there is no official word on whether or not the two are dating again, an inside source told PEOPLE Magazine that “They have a strong connection. It’s all been quick and intense, but Jennifer is happy”.While it may be a little vague, it is clear that Lopez is happy spending time with her ex, Affleck, after ending her engagement with Arod.
It has been claimed that the two, Lopez and Affleck, have always remained friends since their split back in 2004. So it may be possible that the two are just spending time as friends. However, this recent reconnection seems to be happening extremely close to Lopez’s break up with Arod, leaving people to figure there might be more.
The two exes have come a long way since their break up in 2004. They both have been married and have also had children in those marriages.
Now, as they both end up single at the same time in the year 2021, Lopez and Affleck are enjoying each other’s company once again. It truly is a blast from the past, but it has been said that the sparks between the two are undeniable. We just have to wait and see if ‘Bennifer’ decides to make a full return almost two decades later.
