Ready to Travel? WHO Advises a Lift on Travel Bans

The World Health Organization released a statement advising that countries worldwide lift travel bans. After the Omicron variant tore its way across the globe in the blink of an eye, they determined that the prohibitions were ineffective. People worldwide are getting stir crazy after being cooped up in their homes for over two years, only to watch Covid get worse. 

The pandemic has shown that we can work from anywhere. At this point, we should be able to travel while we work so we’re not stuck at home the whole time. If you wish to travel, keep in mind that we are still in the throes of a global crisis. Taking the necessary precautions is essential for safety. Many countries require complete vaccination and a negative test before entry. And some order travelers to quarantine for ten days upon arrival, especially if they’re unvaccinated. 

Covid isn’t going away anytime soon. That much is for sure. We still have to make the best of our lives, but we need to make sure that we are doing our part to keep society safe and healthy as a whole.
