Federal Judge Rules Porsche Not at Fault in Paul Walker Wrongful Death Suit

A judge has sided with Porsche in a wrongful death lawsuit stemming from the November 2013 death of Paul Walker and his friend Roger Rodas, who was driving the Porsche Carrera GT when it crashed and burst into flames.

Rodas’ widow filed suit against the carmaker, alleging that the Porsche lacked safety features, like a secure crash cage, that could have saved the men. The judge found no evidence to support the claim and ruled against Rodas.

Two cases remain, one filed by Walker’s daughter and one by his father. Both family members believe the Fast and Furious actor survived the crash but was locked in the burning car due to Porsche defects.
