President Trump Holds Rally With Herschel Walker In Georgia

Image

President Trump returned to Georgia to endorse Herschel Walker for the Georgia Senate Race in 2022. The ‘Save America’ rally format that Trump has been using for many months now continues to reflect back on his four years in office and discusses the controversial outcome of the 2020 Presidential Election.

Among other issues, Trump discussed the COVID-19 pandemic and highlighted some of the difficulties that Joe Biden’s administration is currently having with containing the virus. He also declared the serious ‘deterioration’ of the country as a concern and spoke about how the country might start to look after three more years of Biden’s leadership.

After spending some time on the political issues, Trump shifted his focus to the 2022 midterm elections where he predicted a massive victory for ‘America-First’ Republicans like Herschel Walker. He discussed some of the positive traits that Herschel Walker had before officially endorsing him for the U.S. Senate.

Herschel Walker previously played football at the University of Georgia. He is a popular statewide figure and could boost enthusiasm in the 2022 midterm elections. Democrats have been making major gains in Georgia and the Republican Party is hoping to stop the bleeding with a fresh candidate that has a ton of name recognition. Many Republicans are hoping that Herschel Walker is capable of flipping the seat.

Trump continues to hold rallies and will likely continue to make endorsements for candidates that he sees fit. Trump has calculated that it is in his best interests to get as many ‘America-First’ Republicans elected as possible so that if he were to run again in 2024, he wouldn’t have to deal with hostile individuals from within his own political party.

It will certainly be interesting to continue to monitor the endorsements of the former President, including the trajectory of Herschel Walker’s campaign for the U.S. Senate. As we get closer to the 2022 midterm elections, we can expect to see a lot more rallies from Trump as he tries to get his preferred candidates nominated and elected.
