Caitlyn Jenner Holds Interviews While Newsom Offers More Cash To California Citizens Ahead Of The Recall Election

There’s clearly two separate strategies developing for the two prominent candidates that are currently fighting for the governorship of California. On one end of the spectrum, you’ve got Governor Gavin Newsom trying to offer stimulus payments to citizens to improve his approval ratings before an election takes place to recall him.

While it’s possible that offering stimulus payments will be a popular policy choice for the current governor, it probably doesn’t make him any less vulnerable than he already is for the recall. There is currently a very realistic chance that he is recalled later this year, something that has only happened once in California’s lengthy history.

His most prominent opponent is Caitlyn Jenner, who is currently holding interviews and spreading her message to California citizens as a Republican who desires to remove Newsom from office for years of poor policy decisions.

It might seem nearly impossible for Jenner to have a realistic shot at winning, but name recognition goes a long way in the golden state. And let’s not forget that former President Trump also started out his campaign with ‘nearly no chance’ of winning the primaries, not even to mention the 2016 general election.

Caitlyn Jenner has been discussing Newsom’s failed policy decisions with several media outlets and holding lengthy interviews to discuss her own ideas for the future of California. The recall election is still several months away, but Caitlyn Jenner could become a serious challenger to Newsom, especially since many of the other candidates simply don’t have the name recognition to win in California.

If enough voters cast a ballot to recall Newsom, the candidate with the best name recognition might be the person that becomes the next Governor of California. Caitlyn Jenner is currently doing everything in her power to ensure that she’s the best alternative if the recall succeeds.
