LeBron James Set to Star in ‘Space Jam’ Movie Reboot

It seems the rumors are true! Hollywood Reporter has announced that LeBron James is set to collaborate with Warner Bros. in a sequel to the wildly popular Space Jam movie, which was originally released in 1996 and starred Michael Jordan alongside Looney Tunes characters.

James has yet to confirm the news himself, but spoke about the possibility back in 2014. “[I] always loved Space Jam. It was one of my favorite movies growing up,” James said. “If I have the opportunity, it will be great.”

The NBA superstar made his film debut last year in in Amy Schumer’s Trainwreck, for which he received rave reviews.
