GM Ramps up Their Game with Carbravo

On January 11, 2022, GM announced Carbravo, an innovative way to shop for used cars. Lately, there has been extremely high demand in the used car industry, and it’s no surprise. Shortages in the supply chain have caused prices of new cars to skyrocket. On top of that, the seemingly ceaseless inflation forced many people to tighten their budgets, choosing used cars over new ones.

Carbravo gives users the option to shop for a new vehicle from the comfort and safety of their own home or at the dealership. In addition, GM gives them the advantage of expanding their options by providing a broader inventory to choose from.

Customers who shop with the Carbravo platform will receive a wide variety of benefits, including warranties, nationwide access to dealerships for service and maintenance, roadside service, delivery, at-home test drives, and more (Blake). The used car competition has been high since Carvana and Carmax exploded in the market, and GM is stepping up to the plate.

With outstanding issues like inflation and record levels of coronavirus infections, GM targets these consumer concerns, giving them peace of mind to shop their way. Will they stand a chance against established competition or flop under pressure? GM is one of the biggest names in the car industry, so they have an excellent opportunity to make it in this highly competitive market.
