President Obama Tears Up Talking About Gun Violence

On Tuesday, Jan. 5, President Obama unveiled new gun control measures and cried as he talked about gun violence.

“Every single year, 30,000 Americans have their lives cut short by guns,” he said as he shared his plan to end gun violence.

“Our right to peaceful assembly — that right was robbed from moviegoers in Aurora, high schoolers in Columbine and from first graders in Newtown,” he continued as he wiped away tears. “First graders. And from every family who’d never imagined that their loved one would be taken from our lives by a bullet from a gun.”
