Michelle Obama Will Release Her ‘Deeply Personal’ Memoir In November

Michelle Obama is opening up about her journey to the White House in a new memoir, set to be released November 13. Random House calls it “unerringly honest” and the former First Lady herself says it includes many personal details.

“Writing BECOMING has been a deeply personal experience,” Obama, 54, tweeted on February 25. “I talk about my roots and how a girl from the South Side found her voice.”

The tome will be Obama’s second published work. She wrote about the White House garden in 2012’s American Grown.
